Wireghost
WIREGHOST is a cyberpunk detective game played entirely from a Linux terminal. You are an operator for the Shadow Net, hired to prove what the police wrote off: a suicide that doesn't add up, a fall where nobody was supposed to be, and a woman convicted on evidence that isn't hers. The commands are real — nmap, ssh, grep, stat, xxd, and ciphers you have to break yourself. So is the cost: every scan, sniff and login leaves a trace, and the trace decides whether you walk out a Ghost or a Sloppy one. Don't know Linux? GUIDED mode turns the whole thing into a point-and-click puzzle — the same case, the same evidence, no typing. Three case files. Five endings in the last one. No install, no connection: open it and play. Fully playable in English and Spanish.
· Three full cases, from tutorial to a branching finale
· A real Linux terminal: 40+ commands with their flags and their output
· Real crypto — rot13, Caesar and XOR, reversible for actual
· TRACE bar: get in loud and your ending drops a rank
· Two modes: type it yourself, or solve it entirely by mouse
· English and Spanish, interface and story alike
Disclaimer: Music and character portraits were generated with AI. Parts of the code and some in-game text were written with an AI assistant for its translation. The cases, the puzzles, the investigation design and the story are the author's own work.
